EMDR

You may have heard of EMDR, (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) but how can it really help you? My favorite thing about EMDR is that, if you’re willing to do the work, it WORKS and it’s much quicker than traditional talk therapy.

Once we have established safety and rapport we can begin EMDR. At Moxie, we consider it an honor to have guided many clients through EMDR and bear witness to healing, transformation and self-compassion. During EMDR sessions, clients are guided through a structured process to address and resolve trauma, and or negative core-beliefs keeping them stuck and/or engaging in harmful patterns. EMDR is not only beneficial for acute trauma; but also for major depression, anxiety, phobias, relationship issues, anger issues and many more concerns that can begin to invade our life if not dealt with.
